BA (Hons) Motion Graphics
Welcome to the new visual & creative digital design course to be delivered by
industry experienced lecturers at East Coast Media.

The new BA (Hons) in Motion Graphics is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to develop a variety of visually creative broadcast products for the four main employment industries of Computer Games, Television, Film & Internet.

From the start, students will continuously work with industry experienced tutors and put into practice the core design principles and theories while creating high-end 2D & 3D animation / motion graphic design.

The second year sees the design and motion graphics industries provide greater creative and constructive support in the form of work-based placements, guest lectures and live briefs.

In the final year of study, students will undertake a final project. This student-led module allows them to choose their own creative and technical direction and produce a substantial piece of work that will demonstrate their abilities to employers or higher study.

Validated by Hull University, all classes will be delivered within the state-of-the-art facilities at East Coast Media within the Grimsby Institute.

In addition to structured classes, workshop and tutorials, the student will be expected to carry out considerable self-study and work in addition to attending the Institute.
